New for Open Yard 2019 is a dock with classic, well cared boats, not for sale. We will show the following classic boats:

At Open Yard in Ellös, Orust, West Sweden, 23-25 August 2019, Scandinavia's largest sailboat show, with both new and used boats and lots of yacht equipment, there is also possible to sail radio controlled boats for free. This is arranged by Liros Skandinavia.

In connection with Open Yard / Öppet Varv, Farbror Münster will play live at Sjögården, across the street from the show area, Friday 23 August 2019, 19:30-00:30.

In connection with Open Yard / Öppet Varv, Freddan & Tomas will play live at Sjögården, across the street from the show area, Saturday 24 August 2019, 19:30-00:30.

There will be no less than 16 new exhibitors at Open Yard / Öppet Varv 23-25 August 2019, not exhibiting last year. These are:

The Swedish Sea Rescue Society received a newly developed rescue boat on the 12 July 2019. The boat is the first of its kind and is donated by the Rassy family.

As the tradition has it, there will be an interesting lecture on Saturday evening at the Open Yard weekend 24 August 2019. The lecture is arranged by Hallberg-Rassy and will be held in English by Laura Braive and Marco Thyssen.

Now also Ellös Pizzeria has the rights to serve alcoholic beverages. As you can see by the picture, there is a wide selection in the bar. The serving place is located at Ellös crossroads and serves nice tasting pizzas, salads, burgers and kebabs. In addition to Ellös Pizzeria, there are during the Open Yard days even totally four places serving...

The first completely renewed room at Hotel Sjögården - Verhas is finished, right next to the Open Yard area. The whole renewed hotel area is estimated to be finished 1 July 2019. www.verhas.se

Open Yard invests for the future: The East end dock will be completely renewed and will be finished in time for the 2019 season.
