World premiere for the first Hallberg-Rassy with EcoDeck

At Orust Sailboat Show with Open Yard / Öppet Varv 26-28 August 2022 there is world premiere for the first Hallberg-Rassy a 340, with EcoDeck. 

This is something new that doesn't look or feel as anything new, but as a Hallberg-Rassy has always looked like. 

Hallberg-Rassy now offer EcoDeck, which is a strong, flexible, solvent free, UV-proof polyurethane resin based decking and caprail system. This viscous-elastic composite material has a stylish and warm effect with a seamless and durable finish. 

EcoDeck is made of polyurethane, which is more durable, non-skid and easier to maintain than both a PVC deck and traditional teak. 

Marron EcoDeck has been used for years on superyachts and Hallberg-Rassy now has an exclusive agreement to use it on new sailing yachts. 

Traditional teak deck and teak caprail are still available as an option.
